Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Missouri Medicaid-based program that provides personal care attendant (PCA) services for those who are disabled and wish to live independently. Although similar in nature to in-home services, CDS services are provided to persons with a physical disability and do not include any task performed by a licensed professional. A participant of CDS must be able to direct the care planning process and hire an attendant. In general, CDS consist of Personal Care and Chore Services (cleaning, cooking, laundry, meal preparation).

Similar to CDS services, (IHS) is also a Missouri Medicaid-based program. In general, IHS consist of personal care, nursing services, housekeeping, and respite care. Unlike CDS services, Consumers are not required to self-direct. Individuals who qualify for IHS, are eligible to receive task performed by a license professional.

Private duty home care is a service provided to elderly or disabled individuals who are in need of assistance with day-to-day activities. A private duty home caregiver visits your home or the home of your loved one and helps with activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal grooming and hygiene. A private duty home caregiver can also provide companionship for such individuals, as well as respite care to relieve family members who care for their loved ones on a regular basis. This is not a Medicaid based program, although Medicaid payments are acceptable. These services can be paid through private insurance, out of pocket, and many other ways.

Our adult daycare center is a non-residential facility that supports the health, nutritional, social, and daily living needs of adults in a professionally staffed, group setting. Our center provides meals, meaningful activities, and general supervision. Our adult daycare center may also be able to provide respite care, enabling caregivers to work or have a break from their care-giving responsibilities.
